Pipestone Ghost WalksSaturday Nights Memorial Day - Labor Day, 2016
This walk will meet at the Pipestone County Museum and stroll down Main Street and meander through alleyways, while a costumed guide spins tales of the bizarre and unusual as well as providing some history of the area. A highlight of the tour is a local hotel which is a source of many paranormal activities and sightings. Three locally published ghost story books are also available at the Pipestone County Museum's gift shop. Call the Pipestone County Museum for walk reservations and information at 507-825-2563.

Summer Car Cruizin' NightsMark your calendars for the first Tuesday nights from June through September for our Pipestone Summer Car Cruizin' Nights. Classic cars, gorgeous architecture, music, food, and prizes! Join Us for these monthly fun free family events from 5-8 pm! 2016 Dates: June 2, July 7, and September 1 (on Historic Downtown Main Street) and August 4 (at the Pipestone County Fairgrounds in conjunction with the Pipestone County Fair).
Watertower FestivalJune 23-25, 2016
In 2016 we will be celebrating the 27th Annual Watertower Festival. Residents and visitors turn out en masse for the community's annual Watertower Festival. The festival commemorates the restoration of the city's old concrete water tower as a community landmark.
The 2016 Theme is "Celebrate Our Parks & Trails" in recognition of the following:
*National Park Service Centennial (Pipestone National Monument)
*MN State Parks & Trails System’s 125th Anniversary (Split Rock Creek State Park and Casey Jones State Trail);
*Casey Jones State Trail’s 50th Anniversary; and Our Numerous Pipestone City and County Parks and Trails (new Hiawatha Lodge at Hiawatha Pageant Park)

Pipestone Heritage FestHeritage Fest: July 22 – July 24, 2016
The annual Keepers of the Sacred Tradition of Pipemakers Gathering and Love of the Land Rendezvous have joined together this year to celebrate both American Indian culture and pre-1840 era buckskinners and fur traders. Experience a wide variety of American Indian culture and arts. Stroll through traders’ row and see how life was for people in the fur-trade era. Activities will include: Traditional Native American housing (if desired); storytelling; American Indian dancing, drumming, Native Foods Cook-Off, Dutch oven cooking contest, hawk & knife throw competition, and American Indian craft classes and workshops such as beadwork, dream catcher making, basket creation, tanning a hide, and pipestone carving. Pipestone Civil War Days2016 Event! ~ August 13 & 14, 2016
Located at the Pageant Grounds on N Hiawatha the Pipestone Civil War Days brings the Civil War to life for visitors of all ages. Some 400 living history re-enactors from throughout the upper midwest portray soldiers and civilians, north and south, in camp, drill, daily life and lively battles and skirmishes. There are a number of exciting activities being planned: daily battles, Abe & Mary Lincoln, Fashion Revue, Cannon demonstrations, children's activities, camp tours, medicine man, and of course the Grand ball.

Highway 75 Market Day September (Dates yet to be determined)
10-12 Communities up and down Highway 75 host local and regional vendors for the area largest coordinated marketplace. Pipestone's Market Day is located at the Pipestone County Fairgrounds along Highway 75, and includes farmer's market, flea market, and antiques.
