DIRECTORS NOTES

Ten people, invited to an island and a homicidal maniac killing them off one by one - the perfect formula for a murder mystery.  "Ten Little Indians" is perhaps one of Agatha Christie's more famous mysteries.  There have been at least four movie versions of the play and it has become a staple in community theatre.  Rumor has it that there is a Broadway revival in the works.  I'll never forget the first time I was this play - I was filled with anxiety  as those little figures disappeared one by one and the tension of the characters mounted.  Now this classic comes to Pipestone, and what a monumental accomplishment it is. A talented cast of 11 has made this one of the most meaningful and downright fun projects I've ever worked on, I hope you can enjoy this wonderful script and talented cast as much as I have. The "chemistry" is definitely there!
