The Cast

LINDA SANOW, Slayton, MN as Mildred Carson. Owner-Manager of the Second Wind Antique Mall & More-Slayton. Being '50ish' I have what I call my 'exciting goals'-3 of them. I have always wanted to parachute jump from an airplane, white water raft down The Grand Canyon, and try out and be in a community play. Now that I have accomplished the third and hardest goal- the other two will be a 'piece of cake!' I have had a blast working with everyone in this cast!

JESSICA JACOBSON, Pipestone, MN as Naomi Farkell. Speech-Language Pathologist at Weiner Memorial Medical Center. This is my second performance with the Calumet Players and I've had the pleasure of working with another great cast. My fiancé thinks I'm crazy for trying to plan our wedding at the same time I'm coordinating rehearsal time, engagement classes, and line memorization. I certainly appreciate all his support and encouragement.

DANELLE M. WILDERMUTH, Pipestone, MN as Faye McFaye is a junior at Pipestone-jasper High School. As always the stage has been a VERY rewarding experience. For some people a county fair always makes them feel like home; for me it is working with these wonderful people.

CHAD BORMAN, Holland, MN as Luther Carson Model/Farmer. This is my second play. My first experience was The money in Uncle George’s Suitcase. Being on stage is a lot of fun and work. I hope to do more. It’s fun to see how the cast all comes together to become ‘family’ for 6 weeks. I would like to give special thanks to my wife, Melissa, and new baby, Kayli Dawn.

LILAH MEIER, Pipestone, MN as RuthAnn Barns Employed at Good Samaritan Village, Ridgeview Estates and an international coordinator for foreign exchange students - PAX. I love playing RuthAnn (preacher’s wife) as it comes natural for me. I truly have a personal relationship with our Lord. My previous role was Mrs. Frank, in the drama Diary of Anne Frank. Words of Wisdom: Don’t ever doubt your abilities and gifts given to you by God.

WALLY POTTS, Woodstock, MN as Delbert Fink Employed at Bayliner Marine. This is my first experience with community theater. I wasn’t going to do the play, but after much ‘persuasion’ I decided to try it. I’m so glad I did. I always look forward to play practice. So sit back, relax and enjoy the show!

JANET TIMMERMAN, Pipestone, MN as Violet Farkle Assistant Director of the Pipestone County Museum. For me there are never enough county fairs to slide down, ride on, walk by, sign up for, shoot at, eat up, enter in, gawk at, clap for, hold hands at, kiss at the top of, just never enough. The play has been one long, delightful ride at the county fair! Hang on!

JESSICA POTTS, Woodstock, MN as Gladys Pimbleton Employed at Pipestone County Museum. This is my second acting experience with the Calumet Players and hope to have many more. The people in this show are funny and I have made many new friends. I hope you enjoy this ‘Pulchritudic’ show.

DIANE KOMSKY, Ruthton, MN as Bubba Jean Owner of Q Salon and Spa/Residential Tipper for D’s Sanitation. I had a funny fair experience when I dived into the air filled jumping machine. My butt got wedged in tight. Boy was my face red and the spectators had a great laugh! Diane quotes herself as being, “a born again soul and to have faith and trust in Him!

Debby Bullis, Flandreau, SD Stage Manager She is usually found running her Flandreau daycare youngsters through their creative paces. She has enjoyed every minute helping Sylvia with this colorful production. She says, “I knew we had a winning cast-what a wonderful group to work and grow with! Ya’ll are goin’ to be glad ya made the trip to Faith County

Luther and Naomi cordially invite ya'll to their wedding reception in the lobby followin' the ceremony!

Director's Notes - When you feel a little lonely - you can always to go the theatre where you meet new people, laugh a lot, and become someone you're not.  This production travels to a distant town in Faith county.  The folks are people we all know and find to be a bit of ourselves.  The experience as Director has been a high point for me.  I have always put in my two cents to other directors, now it is up to me! I am fortunate to have a great Producer Team, a talented Stage Manager, and best of all, the Cast.  I invite you as the audience to relax and sit a spell as you put your mind in Faith County.
