Director's Notes

As the new president of the Calumet Players and also as the director of this production, I would like to thank you for taking time our of your hectic winter schedules to attend our show and also for all of your past and future support for your community theater.

We have reached the middle of our season and can boast again that we have been able to come up with 10 new cast members who haven't worked on our stage before. Hopefully, this will encourage those of you wondering whether you could possibly get involved in a show, since you may not have any experience in the theater. We are always looking for new and eager people to come join us in our productions, and once again we extend that invitation.

I now would like to tell you that our second annual meeting for the Calumet Players is scheduled for March 20 (1997), at which time we will be electing four new board members and opening discussion on the long-term goals of this organization. These discussions will also be focusing on what you the ticket-buying public would like us to consider for future productions. If you have any ideas or topics that you feel would be important for us to address, please contact any of the present board members listed in this program.

Finally, may I take this opportunity to personally thank JaNeil and Karin for all the hard work put forth in order to make my job a little less stressful, and also a big thank you to the cast and crew for all the long nights of work in putting a project of this nature together.

Thanks again and enjoy the show!

Bruce Kurtz, director
